You do not need to be a geology buff to enjoy the remarkable rock formations found at Yehliu Park in Taipei. This little park sits on a promontory jutting out of Taiwan's north coast, easily accessible from the city. The forces of wind and water have carved dramatic shapes out of the park's landscape. Beautiful, natural standing stones dot the golden shoreline, and over the years visitors have endowed the most memorable of them with imaginative names such as"Queen's Head" and"Fairy Slipper." A trip to Yehliu park lets you take in one of the most remarkable natural landscapes in Taiwain.
